Jamshedpur, Feb 17: In response to concerns raised by passengers regarding the distance between the foot overbridge (FOB) and the platform, adjustments are being made for the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat train at Tatanagar station. The eight-coach train will now undergo a change in its coach guidance system at platform number four. Passengers have been facing inconvenience due to the considerable distance they needed to cover to reach the coaches before the automatic gates closed. To address this issue, a joint inspection of the platform was conducted on Friday under the leadership of Station Superintendent OP Sharma, and included supervisors from operations, engineering, and commerce departments.

As a solution, a plan has been devised to install a stop board near the foot overbridge on platform number four during the arrival of the down train. This adjustment will enable the guard and loco pilot to stop the train at the convenient spot on the platform, facilitating smoother boarding for passengers.
