Jamshedpur: The Election Commission of India has approved a proposal for the change of venue of a polling booth in Assembly Constituency 45-Ghatshila (ST), falling under the Jamshedpur Parliamentary Constituency. This decision comes in response to the challenging location of the previous polling station building. The details of the approved change are as follows: Assembly Number and Name: 45-Ghatshila (ST) Previous Polling Station Name: 92-Government Upgraded Middle School, Basadera. Current Polling Station Name: 92-Government Middle School Hiraganj.
All voters who were previously assigned to the Government Upgraded Middle School in Basadera are requested to note the change and exercise their franchise at the new polling station, Government Middle School Hiraganj, on the day of polling scheduled for 25th May 2024.
This change aims to ensure smooth and convenient voting for all voters in the constituency. Voters are urged to familiarize themselves with the new polling station location and participate actively in the democratic process on the designated polling day.
