Jamshedpur, April 14: Amar Bauri, revenue & land reforms, art, culture, sports & youth affairs minister on Friday gave necessary directives to augment tourism and develop Chandil Dam as a top class tourist spot.
He said that we should work together by dividing nature of tourism in 3-4 categories which would help generate employment for the locals and make them financially strong.
To attract tourists in large numbers flying boat facility would be started through which people can enjoy boating at the dam, said the minister.
Bauri further said that road, electricity and network facility will be made better and stressed on preserving the archaeological remains and ordered the subdivision officer of Chandil to visit the site with the Archeologist where archaeological remains are being found and take necessary steps.
Minister further said that Chandil Dam has all ingredients of becoming a top class tourists spot and the state government will leave no stone unturned to help develop it.
On the occasion DC Ramesh Gholap, deputy development commissioner Akansha Ranjan, Ichagarh MLA Sadhucharan Mahato and others were present.
