Seraikela, Nov 26: Former Chief Minister and newly elected BJP MLA Champai Soren arrived in Seraikela on Tuesday evening where he engaged with party workers and walked through the city to meet the public and inquire about their well-being. Later, he attended a Constitution Day event as the chief guest at the BJP district office organized by the BJP District Committee where he addressed party members.

In his speech, Soren declared that the Hemant Soren-led government, which he accused of deceiving the public to gain power, would soon come to an end. He also highlighted the critical issue of Bangladeshi infiltration, especially in the Santal Pargana region, which, he claimed had been sidelined during the assembly elections due to power struggles. Soren vowed to continue his fight against this issue and announced the start of a new rebellion—Hul Ulgulan—from January, aimed at addressing the growing infiltration concerns and securing the rights of the tribal people.

Soren also criticized those who, in the name of saving the Constitution, were defaming the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that Modi’s government had always been committed to protecting the Constitution. He warned that if this situation continued, Bangladeshi infiltrators in areas like Rajmahal and Pakur could influence the direction of the state government. He promised that the fight to protect the identity, land, and dignity of the local population would intensify.

Mandal Murmu of Bhognadih, a descendant of martyr Sidhu Kanhu, also spoke at the event, expressing his support for BJP and Soren’s cause. He noted that despite India’s independence, tribal people in Jharkhand still faced exploitation and that the struggle for their rights would continue. Murmu pledged his commitment to a new rebellion, ready to fight until the rights of tribals were recognized and the state was free from illegal infiltration.

The event also featured speeches by BJP leader Ramesh Hansda and other party officials, including Meenakshi Pattanaik, Pappu Verma, Ramdas Tudu, Raja Singhdev, and others.
