Jamshedpur, August 21: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren has announced that he will not retire from politics and is planning to form a new party. Addressing a large gathering in his native village, Jilingora in Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Wednesday, Soren stated that he would move forward if he found a partner who shared his commitment to the welfare of tribals and Dalits.
Supporters in Jilingora backed Soren and raised slogans like, ‘Jharkhand Tiger Zindabad.’ Soren shared that after returning from Kolkata on Tuesday, he had discussions with over 5,000 people and decided to continue his political journey.
Earlier on Tuesday night, Soren stated that he had once considered retiring from politics, but the overwhelming support from his followers changed his mind. He reaffirmed his dedication to fighting for the rights of workers and serving the people, stating that he would collaborate with a party that shared his ideology.
