Jamshedpur, Jan 05: The poor and helpless villagers of Mahtabeda village of Dumra Panchayat in Gamharia Block received blankets from legislator Champai Soren. Speaking on the occasion the legislator stated, �There are so many needy and helpless people in my Vidhan Sabha constituency who are forced to shiver in the winter for lack of warm clothing. Their condition is indeed inhuman. I am trying my level best to distribute blankets to all such unfortunate people so that they too, like other people can ward off the winter cold.�
More than 100 blankets were distributed on the occasion. Others present on the occasion were JMM central committee member Krishna Baskey, district vice president Amrit Mahto, Ram Hansda, Ramdas Tudu, Dumra Panchayat Mukhiya Piyo Hansda, Rajesh Bhagat, Manish Bhagat, Lalbabu Mahto, Ajit Sen, Shailendra Kumar and others.
