Jamshedpur, Jan 5: On the occasion of late Ajay Jalan�s fourth death anniversary, the Gamharia branch of Brahmkumaris Ishwariya Vishvidyalay organized a blood donation camp at the Community Centre near Lal Building. The chief guest on the occasion was ASIA president Inder Agrawal while the guests of honour comprised SCCI president Ashok Bhalotia and Vidya Jyoti School principal Sunil Jha who jointly garlanded a portrait of late Ajay Jalan and lit the traditional lamp to inaugurate the blood donation camp in which 63 units of blood were collected.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Inder Agrawal observed, �Blood donation is the biggest gift which man donates to save another�s life. I appreciate the Brahmkumaris for organizing this blood donation camp and people should come forward and donate blood.�
Ashok Bhalotia in his speech cast light on the life of Ajay Jalan and also stated the positives of blood donation. Others who spoke on the occasion included Sunil Jha, social worker Lata Agrawal, Veena Khirwal, Vibha Dudani, Marwari Yuva Manch president Pappu Kedia and Anand Kumar Jalan. The program was anchored by Brahmkumari chief Punam Bahan.
The 63 units of blood collected in the camp will be preserved at the Jamshedpur Blood Bank. Those who helped out in organizing this camp included Madhu Jalan, Jugal Jalan, Prem Shankar Sharma, Marwari Mahila Samiti�s Sumitra Gupta, Gita Agrawal, Lalita Tulsiyan, Mothers� Pride School principal Kavita Banerjee, Brahmkumaris� Kiran Bahan, Maya Bahan, Renu Bahan, Marwari Yuva Manch�s Vimal Agrawal, Bunty Tulsiyan, Manish Tulsiyan and Yogesh Sakseria.
