Chakradharpur Railway Division Cancels Several MEMU Trains Till June 14

Chakradharpur: Railway authorities have suspended operations of several MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) trains in the Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway till June 14 due to ongoing track maintenance. The railway administration is using a Track Renewal Train (TRT) machine to replace sleepers between Mahali Marup and Sini stations, forcing the cancellation of six MEMU trains on various dates.

Sleeper Replacement Work Scheduled from June 12 to 14

According to railway officials, workers will replace track sleepers on the down line between Mahali Marup and Sini stations from June 12 to 14. To facilitate this, the administration has scheduled a 3-hour-and-45-minute TRT block on Friday and Sunday. The block will remain effective from 9:30 AM to 1:15 PM, disrupting train movement on the affected section. Officials emphasized that this maintenance is essential for passenger safety and the structural integrity of the tracks.
