Chakradharpur Divisional Railway to recruit Shunting Masters

Jamshedpur, June 1: Chakradharpur Divisional Railway has invited applications for the post of Shunting Masters from Grade IV Railway employees. As per the criteria set by the department, the applicants should be deputed for at least five years in the operating department of Railways. The last date for filing applications is 27^th June. There are a total of 14 vacant posts in Chakradharpur Division. This would fill in vacancies at Tatanagar and Rourkela railway stations. Matric pass Railway employees will have to appear in exam to become Shunting Masters. The post of Shunting Master is at par with the post of Assistant Station Master, soiurces said. Shunting Master plays a vital role in the safe shunting of trains between the railway station and shunting yard.
