Chakradharpur, Aug 14: The Divisional Rail Users’ Consultative Committee (DRUCC) meeting for the term 16 August 2024 to 15 August 2026 was held at the DRM Meeting Hall, Chakradharpur on 13 August 2025. The meeting was chaired by DRM Tarun Huria and attended by senior railway officials including ADRM/Operations Binay Kujur, ADRM/Infrastructure Ajeet Kumar, CPM(G/S) Kailash Chandra Sharma, Sr. DCM Aditya Kumar Choudhary, Sr. DOM(Co-Ord) Avanish, Sr. DEN(Co-Ord) Ram Pratap Meena, Sr. DFM Hemant Madhur and Sr. DSTE N.M. Dash.
DRUCC members present included Manoj Kumar Choudhary, Rakesh Ranjan Sahu, Rajesh Kumar, Sanjeet Kumar Mishra, Rajib Kumar Nayak, Arun Kumar Singh, Manoj Kumar Mahato and Rama Nand Mishra. The meeting highlighted the division’s achievements in freight and passenger services, as well as ongoing initiatives to enhance passenger amenities. Members proposed suggestions to expand train services, increase stoppages, improve cleanliness and ensure timely completion of key projects. Officials emphasised the Railways’ commitment to improving passenger convenience and providing a better travel experience.
