Chaibasa: SDO conducts investigation into complaints against Municipal Council

Chaibasa, July 12: West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal taking cognizance of several complaints received against Chaibasa Municipal Council directed the Sadar SDO, Sashindra Kumar Baraik to inquire into the allegations reprted against the civic body.

The SDO interrogated the City Council Executive Officer Sushil Kumar and City Manager Jyoti Punj on the basis of complaints received by the district administration. Talking to the media after the investigation, SDO Sashindra Kumar Baraik informed that enquiries regarding the complaints were made and the Municipal Council officials had been instructed to provide documents and files pertaining to the complaints. The SDO said that after scrutiny of the documents, the allegations leveled against the Chaibasa Municipal Council would come to light.
