Chaibasa, July 22: Jyoti Seema Devgam, a native of Chaibasa, has made a remarkable mark in the fashion industry in Germany. As the managing director of Mary & Seema GmbH, a fashion firm she co-founded with her friend Mary, Seema has achieved significant success in a field where she is both a trailblazer and a pioneer. She is notably the first “Ho” tribal entrepreneur to attain such a distinction in European fashion.

Originally from Chaibasa, a small city known for its appreciation of fashion, Seema’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Her academic background includes a commerce degree from Marwari College, Ranchi, followed by an LLB, and later a master’s degree in Germany. Despite working in various roles, including at Ranchi High Court, SBI, and an IT firm, her passion for fashion drove her to establish her own company abroad.

Seema and Mary, with their innovative ideas and designs, quickly gained recognition in the fashion industry. Her move to Germany and her transition from diverse career roles to fashion entrepreneurship exemplify her commitment and enthusiasm for her craft. Seema now resides in Germany, managing her successful fashion firm and continuing to make significant contributions to the industry.
