Chaibasa lad Ved Raj achieves All India Rank 2 in ICSE Class 10

Jamshedpur, July 17: Chaibasa, July 17: Ved Raj of St Xavier English School, Chaibasa, has become second national topper and Jharkhand state topper in ICSE 10th Board exams by scoring 498 out of 500. He has scored 99.60 per cent marks in all.

He scored a perfect 100 in Mathematics, Social Science and Computer Science and scored 99 each in English, Hindi and Science. He is preparing for IIT JEE. His parents and school are in a celebratory mood following his grand success.

Congratulatory messages are pouring in at his house and alma mater from all quarters.
Ved’s mother Ranjana Raj teaches Chemistry and English to class IX and X students at St Xavier English School. His father Rajkumar Agrawal is a Dealing Assistant at PWD Office in Chaibasa. According to his mother, “We are residents of Virajganj in Adityapur Industrial Area.

At present we reside in Chaibasa.” Ved Raj is not the only topper in his family. His sister Shraddha Raj was the school topper of 2019. “We are very happy with Ved’s achievement. His teachers, father and sister should be given the credit for his success,” said a proud mother.
