Chaibasa, April 1: The Union of footpath shopkeeper of Chaibasa submitted a memorandum to deputy commissioner addressed to the Chief Minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das on Saturday demanding to permanently settle the 470 footpath shopkeeper under self employment scheme.
The president of the union Dharmendra Kumar Sah said that the cost of 10 by 10 square feet concrete shop should be collected from each shopkeeper and the same amount could be deducted while depositing the rent of the shop.
Around 50 were shopkeepers were present on the occasion.
