Jamshedpur, Aug 3: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur, under the leadership of President Sarika Singh, has initiated a significant campaign to raise awareness about cervical cancer, particularly focusing on the increasing number of cases among young girls. As part of this effort, the club organized an informative session on cervical cancer and its vaccination at Crescent English High School in Mango.
The event included a lecture aimed at educating attendees on the importance of cervical cancer prevention and the benefits of regular screenings. To further emphasize the significance of vaccination, 15 girls received the cervical cancer vaccine during the event.
President Sarika Singh and her team hope that this initiative will encourage more girls and women to undergo regular cancer screenings, which are crucial in preventing and curing this disease.
