Jamshedpur, April 9: Office bearers of various Akhara committees on Saturday met Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta on Saturday and expressed gratitude for the initiative to extend the time for Ram Navami procession. Akhara committees’ representatives greeted Banna Gupta with saffron clothes, sword, turban and bouquets.
Banna Gupta said that on the occasion of Ram Navami, special instructions had been given to officials of the fire department, district administration, electricity department and others. He called upon devotees to participate in the Ram Mahotsav with zest. The Akhara committee representatives were from Raghubar Naga, Sakchi Shahid Chowk, Burmamines and others.
