Jamshedpur: A meeting of Seraikela-Kharsawan district level peace committee was held at the district headquarters on Monday. It was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjana and attended by SP Chandan Kumar Sinha and other district officials. The DC requested one and all to celebrate the festival of Holi with peace and brotherhood. He said Model Code of Conduct should not be violated in any manner.
The SP said the district police will take stringent action against hooligans and those violating the Model Code of Conduct.
