Jamshedpur, June 27: A theft occurred at Darbhanga Dairy located on Mango Dimna Road. The shop owner, Sanjeev Chaudhary, discovered the incident when he arrived to open the shop on Thursday morning. He found that the cash in the shop’s cash box was missing and the plywood door on the roof was open. He immediately informed the police.

The police arrived at the scene and launched investigation. Sanjeev explained that the thief had entered the shop through the roof. While there was no door on the roof, there was a plywood door inside. The thief accessed the first floor through the roof, opened the plywood door using a screwdriver, and entered the shop.

The entire activity of the thief was captured on the CCTV camera. The footage showed the thief entering the shop, heading straight to the cash box, and then escaping through the roof after taking the money.

According to Sanjeev, the thief entered the shop at 2:10 AM. The manner in which the theft was carried out suggested that the thief was aware of the entry point through the roof, possibly indicating involvement of some staff of the shop.

Sanjeev reported that the thief stole between Rs 2 to 2.5 lakh from the shop’s cash box. Apart from the cash, no other item was touched.
