Jamshedpur: In a move to enrich students’ knowledge about various arts and cultural heritage across the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has mandated the formation of cultural and heritage clubs in all affiliated schools. Students will have the opportunity to learn about diverse arts, including Pandavani, Karagattam, Speak Mac, and Madhubani painting through TV education.
The initiative aims to provide insights into Indian culture and heritage, fostering an understanding of the country’s rich diversity, traditions, and geographical variations. CBSE has issued guidelines for the establishment of these clubs, and schools are required to upload reports detailing the formation and activities of the clubs. This aligns with the curriculum goals outlined in the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023.
