Ranchi, May 13: Amidst the common narrative of academic dedication and rigorous study routines, Ranchi’s Class 10 topper, Divyansh, has emerged with a unique approach, securing an exceptional score of 99.4%. His journey to the top spot diverges from the traditional path, showcasing a blend of focused preparation and balanced living.
Divyansh revealed his unconventional study methods, emphasizing the importance of quality over quantity. “I always had a passion in my mind to become a state topper. Today, this dream has come true,” he stated, highlighting his determination to excel academically despite deviating from the stereotypical image of a studious examinee.
Unlike the conventional approach of consistent study throughout the year, Divyansh admitted to occasionally bunking physics classes to indulge in his passion for sports and exploration. “Life is meant to be lived happily. Therefore, it should be spent exploring and enjoying everything,” he remarked while emphatically stating his belief in a well-rounded lifestyle.
During exam periods, Divyansh adopted an intensive study schedule, dedicating 15 to 16 hours daily to preparation. Remarkably, he maintained his fitness routine by continuing to visit the gym, finding solace and relaxation amidst the rigors of exam stress. “I felt very relaxed by going to the gym,” affirmed Divyansh, highlighting the importance of balancing physical and mental well-being.
Emphasizing the significance of studying with genuine interest and understanding, Divyansh stressed the importance of quality over quantity in academic pursuits. “Read anything with all your heart. It is better to read for 2 hours and understand than to read for 10 hours and not understand anything,” advised Divyansh, advocating for a holistic approach to learning.
Acknowledging the support and encouragement of his parents, Divyansh credited his father, an engineer at Usha Martin, for providing guidance and motivation without imposing restrictions. “My father always motivated me and guided me like a friend,” shared Divyansh, reflecting on the importance of familial support in achieving his academic goals.
In a candid revelation, Divyansh expressed his aspiration to achieve financial success, prioritizing wealth and affluence over traditional career paths. “I have only one dream – to become very rich,” confessed Divyansh, envisioning a future where financial abundance would enable him to fulfil his desires without constraints.
