CBSE Class 10, 12 results to be declared in May last week

Jamshedpur, April 13: Central Board of Secondary Education�s (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 results will be declared between May 20 and 30. According to academic calendar released by the board, it has given its regional office time till May 5 to prepare the results. From this year onscreen evaluation will be done at several regions, which would help faster evaluations.

As per the sources, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the results of Class 10 and Class 12 in the last week of May. Last year, the Class 12 results were declared on May 25, while the Class 10 results were released on May 28.

In order to check the results, the candidates should visit the official website cbse.nic.in. Thereafter, the candidates can click on the suitable link and enter the roll number. On submitting the same, the results will get displayed on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future reference.

�I am very much tensed as marks in my Class 12 exam will decide the college and as cut offs specially in Delhi University is increasing with every passing year the score becomes much more essential,� said Priyanka Yadav, a Class 12 appeared student of DAV Bistupur.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the academic calendar for the session 2016-17 which has been implemented from 1 April, 2016.

According to CBSE, programs, activity, project work, events list has been included in the academic calendar and each and every school has been directed to follow the same.

CBSE Academic calendar started with JEE Mains examination were offline exam was held on April 3 while online was organized on April 9 and 10. JEE Mains result will be out on 27 April while All India Pre Medical Test will be held on May 1.

According the calendar released, CBSE Class 10 and 12 boards compartmental exam will begin on July 16. SA-One should be collected by the schools after September 20 and schools on their level can take exams of FA-One and FA-Two.

In 2015, a total of 1,373,853 candidates applied for class 10 exam, out of which 555,912 were girls and 817,941 were boys.

This year, 1,499,122 candidates have applied, out of which 606,437 are girls and 892,685 are boys.

For Class 12 exam, last year, a total of 1,040,368 candidates have applied, out of which 432,985 were girls and 607,383 were boys. This year, a total of 1,499,122 candidates have applied, out of which 446,641 are girls and 621,259 are boys.

The Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) was established on November 3, 1962 and has its headquarters in Preet Vihar, New Delhi.
