Ranchi, June 26: In the NEET paper leak case, the CBI has detained principal of Hazaribagh based Oasis School, Ehsanul Haq.
The investigating agency was considering the role of the principal suspicious in the leak of NEET question paper. Employees of Blue Dart Courier Company are also under suspicion in this case. Since the disclosure of the paper leak, many employees are absconding and are being searched for.
The team interrogated Dr. Ehsanul Haque, the school’s principal and district coordinator for NEET-UG, for several hours before transporting him to Charhi in Hazaribag for further questioning.
An unnamed source disclosed that a 12-member CBI contingent arrived in Hazaribag on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, eight of them visited the school, while others inspected the State Bank of India’s main branch in Hazaribag, as the bank’s manager was reportedly in charge of the question papers.
It is worth noting that Dr. Ehsanul Haq had clearly denied the involvement of the school in the paper leak. He said that the tampering was done outside.
