CBI conducts probe at UCIL establishments on day 2

Jadugora, Aug 31: A CBI team from New Delhi continued its probe on the second continued day here on Saturday. It visited Jadugora, Narwa Pahar and Turamdih Central Store and rummaged through the stock register and other office documents. The probe continued from 9 am till evening, sources said.

Sources said the team focussed its attention on Narwa Pahar Store. From 9 am to noon, the team conducted the probe here. Thereafter, it went to Jadugora and Turamdih. Not much is known about the probe and its goals, said sources.

Sources claimed the ongoing inquiry could be part of routine drive launched nationwide by the Premier investigation agency with the view to deal a blow to corruption.
