Jamshedpur, April 29: A jersey cow was stolen from the house of one Shambhu Sao at Kaveri Road in Daiguttu under Mango police station area in the wee hours of Friday.
A footage of the theft has been captured by a CCTV camera installed in a neighbouring house. Seven persons were seen taking the cow away around 3.30 pm.
Sao learnt about the incident around 5 am when he got up and found the cow missing. He searched for the cow in the locality but could not find it anywhere. Later, he went to his neighbour’s house and saw the CCTV footage.
A delegation of Akhil Bharatiya Tailik Sahu Mahasabha later went to Mango police station with Sbhambhu Sao who lodged a written complaint against unidentified persons. The delegation was led by district president of Akhil Bharatiya Tailik Sahu Mahasabha Rakesh Sahu.
Sao said cattle was also stolen from his house earlier.

Families of the victims filed FIR and three from among the mob of villagers were arrested for the killings. A case of alleged cattle theft was also lodged. Cattle owner Ramu Samarth, who lives in Juni Shukravari, said that more than 15 of his cows and buffaloes were stolen over last one year.
