Caterer fined for substandard food in Patna-Tatanagar Vande Bharat

Jamshedpur, June 18: Caterer Araha who served substandard food in Patna-Tata Vande Bharat Express has been fined financially.

However, the amount of the fine has not been clarified by Indian Railway Tourism and Catering Services (IRCTC).

While travelling from Patna to Tata in 21894 Vande Bharat Express on Monday, the caterer served substandard food to a passenger, Satish Kumar Singh. After this, he also complained about it online.

After the news was published, IRCTC officials investigated against the concerned caterer and found the complaint to be correct and imposed a financial penalty on them. This penalty can range from 10 thousand to one lakh rupees. After receiving the complaint, an investigation has been conducted against the concerned caterer.

“In this, the allegations against them have been found to be correct, although I do not have information about how much financial penalty has been imposed,” said DGM IRCTC, J Minj.
