Jamshedpur, Mar 10: Jugsalai police has lodged cases against 11 named persons over entering into fight with police near Chunna Bhatta on Monday night along with cases against 50 unidentified persons for assaulting with an intent to murder police staff and obstructing government officials from discharging duties.
Incidentally, on Monday night a matter over snatching of Rs 15,000 had snowballed into a major confrontation between police and the basti residents leading police deploying quick response team.
