Jamshedpur: A case of cheating has been lodged by Sitaramdera police against one PS Rao, a builder, on the complaint of one Alok Kumar Dey of Bagunnagar.
Dey alleged that the accused sold the flat booked by him to someone else. He said he had paid Rs 11.80 lakh to the builder to secure a flat.
Another person, Shukla Ghosh reportedly gave Rs 9 lakh to the builder. When Dey demanded his money back, the builder gave him a cheque which got bounded.
Dey said the builder had entered an agreement with him saying he would return the money in three months. But now the builder is not returning the money, he alleged.
