Carols and dance mark Christmas at DBMS College of Education Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Dec 23: DBMS College of Education celebrated Christmas with a vibrant program that included a mix of performances and informative sessions about Jesus Christ and the significance of Christmas.

Christmas carols were sung by Priya Poddar, Roopa, Swati, Arpita, Goodsimran, Shrishti, Megha, Swastika, and Ayush, led by Amrita Chaudhary. A poem was recited by Eliza, while Meha and Akanksha performed a PT routine. The song ‘Messiah Aaya Hai’ was presented by Priya, Arpita, Roopa, Swastika, Megha, Shrishti, Goodsimran, Swati, and Ayush.

A dance titled Anand Ki Bahar was performed by Neha, Priya, Manisha, Muskan, Nikki, Jagriti, Nikita, Aashna, and Sripriha. The play Little Woman, directed by Natasha Joseph, was enacted by Bushra, Renu, Baby Lakshmi, Akanksha, David, Manju, Ankit, and Nancy. Another dance performance, Christmas, was presented by Sripriha, Priya, and Neha.

Principal Dr. Joohi Samarpita spoke about the true meaning of Christmas, emphasizing its message of brotherhood and goodwill. Students Priya, Arpita, Roopa, Swastika, Megha, Shrishti, Ayush, and Simran led a lively dance to the tune of Jingle Bells.

Earlier, the event began with first-year students Rachna Verma and Shweta welcoming the college secretary Shripriya Dharmarajan, co-secretary Sudha Dilip, Padma Shiva, Principal Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Dr. Monica Uppal, and the faculty.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Siddhi. The successful celebration was made possible with the collaborative efforts of both teachers and students.
