Carmel School Patna wins ASISC Regional Declamation Contest at NHES Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Sep 16: ASISC Regional Declamation Contest (Junior Category) for Std IX and X was organised on a virtual platform by Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) on Thursday, September 16.

Dr. Nira Konar (Associate Professor of English and HOD Humanities in the College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat) was the special guest for the occasion.

Six students- Aastha Kashyap (St. Francis School, Jasidih), Annu Kumar (Madhusthali Vidya Peeth, Madhupur), Anu Joshi ( Don Bosco Academy, Ranchi), Albeena Sohail ( Carmel School, Dhanbad), Vasuda Saxena ( Carmel High School, Patna) and Namrata Shree ( DBMS English School, Jamshedpur), qualified for the Regional Round.

Carmel High School, Patna (school code ‘Vega’) was crowned the winner of the contest.

Don Bosco Academy, Ranchi (school code ‘Regulus’) was declared the runner-up and St Francis School, Jasidih (school code ‘Alhena’) was third.   

Carmel High School, Patna has qualified for the National round.

The contest was judged by Prof. Giridhar Ramachandran (Assistant Professor, Marketing Analysis and Marketing Research, XLRI, Jamshedpur), Lalita Sareen (Initiative Director of Mount Litera Zee School, Jamshedpur) and Dr. Pratibha Singh (HOD, Department of English, DAV Public School, Jamshedpur).

The event was well-conducted under the able guidance of the NHES Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury.
