Prashaant had won the ISEF environmental engineering category for his project titled ’Biodegradation of Chlorpyrifos using native bacteria’.

According to information, MIT Lincoln Laboratory has partnered with Society for Science & the Public, a United States-based not for profit organisation to promote science education through the Ceres Connection programme. This programme names minor planets (asteroids) in honour of students in fifth through twelfth class and their teachers. The selection is done through the Discovery Channel.
