Jamshedpur, June 25: Carmel Junior College organized its Annual Prize Nite for class VI to XII in the school auditorium on Saturday evening.
Excellence in academics, good performance, 100% attendance and best endeavour of the students was rewarded. The school principal Sr. Lini, vice-principal Sr. Devashree along with a teacher, a parent representative and a student inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp.
The students were awarded trophies, mementos and certificate of merit for their perseverance, effort, sincerity and hard work.
The students of X and XII received accolades for their hard work which made the school proud. This year the top rankers of ICSE and ISC received cash prizes. �
Smriti Prakash was the ICSE 2016 topper scorning 98.2% marks. She also bagged the all rounder award. Subarno Lahiri was awarded the ICSE Sports award, B Sruti was the most well behaved student, while Pranay Mukherjee bagged the ‘Student for Others’ award. �
In ISC, Tanvi Sinha with 96.3% marks was the topper in science while Rohan Gupta with 95.25% was the commerce topper. Best all-rounder award was given to Qurratul Ain while Deepam Kundu was awarded sports champion.
The Adityadeep Memorial Trophy was also given to the ISC highest scorer in English. The function ended with the school song and the vote of thanks by the Principal.
