Jamshedpur: City-based social organization Manav Kalyan Darshan organized a campaign titled �Bhookhe Ko Bhojan, Pyase Ko Pani� for the poor people at Baridih on Saturday. They distributed food items among the destitute and gave rotis to animals. During the campaign, the outfit members appealed to people to distribute food among the poor and needy people and asked them not to waste food. An appeal was also made to offer food and water to birds and animals.
The outfit secretary Prakash Chandra said the people should take only as much food in their plates as can be eaten sufficiently and surely by them. He said any extra food should be given to other needy and under-privileged people.
Among those present on the occasion included KK Choudhary, Meena Devi, Rupam Bharati, Vijay Kumar and Suraj Singh.
