Ranchi: The state government has given a service extension to the SAP jawans till 31st March 2014. It has also appointed RK Marethia as the chairman of the Jharkhand Consumer Grievances Redressal Commission.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren made the announcement during a meeting of the state Cabinet held at Project Building on Monday.
The principal secretary of the state Cabinet Secretariat and Coordination Department JB Tubid said the Cabinet had also given approval to the Agriculture Service Rule.
Approval has also been given to the Palamu Tiger Conservation Foundation Rule. The Cabinet gave approval to another proposal to nullify Section 45 of the Jharkhand Technology Act. Now the related cases will be heard even in the Civil Courts.
Many other proposals were approved. One more significant proposal was regarding the payment of Rs 291.71 crore in the settlement of dues as a result of partition of loans between Jharkhand and Bihar.
