Buses to commence operations on 24 Routes from Nov 15 – DDC

Adityapur Nov 7: It has been confirmed that buses will start running on 24 designated routes in Seraikela district from November 15, which coincides with the foundation day of the state. These routes have been meticulously planned to ensure the convenience of residents in remote rural areas, encompassing essential locations such as hospitals, colleges, markets, railway stations, blocks, district headquarters, and more. Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) of the district, Praveen Kumar Gagrai, provided this information and disclosed that a meeting had been held with transporters to finalize the routes for the Chief Minister’s Village Vehicle Scheme.

The district administration is committed to the successful implementation of the state government’s ambitious initiative, the Chief Minister’s Village Vehicle Scheme, and is actively preparing for its launch. During a meeting of the district-level committee, chaired by Deputy Development Commissioner Praveen Kumar Gagrai, 24 proposals for bus routes were discussed. The meeting saw the participation of District Council Chairman Sonaram Bodra, District Transport Officer Shankaracharya Samad, District Leading Bank Manager, and representatives from the Bus Owners Association. Block Development Officers also joined the meeting through video conferencing to provide their insights and opinions.
