Jamshedpur: The Mp of Jamshedpur Dr Ajay Kumar has planned to fund an ambitious plan to link all the 23 bus stops across the city to rainwater harvesting technique. The purpose of the project is to ensure that the ground water level is maintained throughout the year.
The MP said talks are on with Jusco in this regard. In the beginning 17 bus stops will be linked to the water harvesting facility. Each bus stop will take around Rs 30,000 in order to be linked to the water harvesting system.
The MP is at present funding the construction of bus stops across the city. He said he was planning to improve the basic infrastructure across the city.
