Jamshedpur, June 23: A peculiar incident took place near Mango Bus stand in Jamshedpur on Monday morning when a passenger unable to trace his luggage took the bus under his control and took it to his place.
He held the bus hostage in Mango. Later the bus was released by the passenger when the owner interviened in the matter and on his assurance the passenger let the bus go.
According to reports, the passenger Kamal Azad resident of Kohinoor Apartment, Old Purulia Road in Mango went to his native place Hazipur during the summer vacation of his children. On Sunday Azad along with his family boarded Aayush Rath named Bus for Tata from Patna and gave all tgheir luggage to helper (Khalasi) of the bus.
On Monday morning when the Bus reached Mango roundabout and Azad came out of the bus to take his luggage and found out his belongings were missing. Soon Azad turned to helper of the bus where he told Azad that by mistake his suitcase was given to another passenger in Ramgarh.
An argument broke out between Azad and bus staff where Azad claimed that the suitcase had jewellery worth Rs. 1 lakh and cash amout also.
After furore when Azad saw there is still no resolution to the matter he told all the passengers in the bus to come out and ordered the driver of the bus to take the vehicle to his place in Mango and will not relase it till his suitcase in delivered to him.
On the other side the passenger who bymistake took the suitcase in Ramgarh on seeing that he has taken the wrong luggage submitted it to the bus stand in Ramngarh.
As Azad and bus staff in Jamshedpur knew about the whole incident the matter was slowed down. Kamal Azad after being fully convinced by the whole incident let the bus off from his home.
