Jamshedpur, Jan. 6: Family and friends bid a final farewell Tuesday to social worker and builder KK Singh who died on Monday.
The funeral of Singh was held at Bhuiyadih Subarnarekha ghat on Tuesday.
People from all walks of life were part of the final journey which started from his Kalimati Road residence at 9 in the morning.
Hundreds of people including business class, religious, social organizations and politicians paid tributes to the man who had been associated with several social organizations.
Significantly, Singh, 68, was admitted to Brahmanand Hospital on January 1 and breathed his last on Monday, January 4.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur Citizen forum on Tuesday held a condolence meet at Sri Krishna Sinha Sansthan on Tuesday.
