Kolkata, March 8 (IANS) Likening life in West Bengal under the Trinamool Congress government as akin to hell, former chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee Sunday said such a situation cannot last long.
Bhattacharjee, a leader of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), dubbed the Trinamool government “uncivilised” and “dishonest”.
Addressing a huge rally convened by the CPI-M at the sprawling Brigade Parade ground here, he said: “You all have come here because you realise what is the condition of the state now. This is a question rankling all the people.
“This hellish condition cannot go on. How long can an uncivilized and dishonest government continue?” he asked in a brief speech while presiding over the rally.
