Jamshedpur, June 1: State-owned telecom operator BSNL has warned its customers to be aware of rising cases of cybercrime. According to a press communique, recently fraudsters are sending messages to customers of BSNL from personal numbers viz 08697937328, 9883547802 etc instead of SMS header. Fraudsters also call customers from personal mobile numbers for completing the KYC verification at the earliest to keep their mobile number active, it said.

“Of late cybercrime is on the rise and fraudsters are using new ways and techniques to commit crimes. BSNL customers are once again advised not to share any personal details viz Aadhaar number, bank card details and not to install any app viz team viewer or quick support, kyc support etc. By installing these apps customer loses control over his mobile phone to fraudsters.
