Brother stabbed to death near Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Sep 16: In a bizarre incident, younger brother died in a knife attack in a fight between two brothers in Sonagada village of Musabani police station area at around 10 am. The incident took place when the younger brother was abusing the elder in a state of intoxication. The police have arrested the accused Datu Baske and his wife Phoolo Baske in this case. The axe used in the murder has also been confiscated from the house of the accused.

The police said that Ragiraj Baske (45 years) had come to the shop near Sonagadha Chowk to collect goods. Seeing his elder brother Datu Baske (55 years) near the square, he started abusing him. Things escalated soon. Meanwhile, Ragiraj hit his elder brother Datu Baske on the head with the wood placed in front. Angered by the injury , he took out the axe from the house and stabbed his younger brother in the stomach. During this incident, his wife had grabbed her brother-in-law from behind.
