Jamshedpur, Oct 26: Two armed criminals looted cash and jewelry worth Rs 1.5 lakh from a house at Shifa Apartment in Road No 16, Jawaharnagar, under Azadnagar police station area on Wednesday.
According to the house owner Raj Khan, the incident took place around 10 am. “I have two flats in the apartment on separate floors. My younger brother went down to the other flat and found the door open.
When he went inside, he saw two strangers looting cash and ornaments. They pulled a gun on my brother and asked about the ornaments. Thereafter they took out all jewelry kept in the almirah and went away,” he said.
Khan said the criminals locked up his brother in the toilet before escaping. The entire incident was captured by a CCTV camera installed in the apartment. The culprits are clearly seen in the footage, said Khan.
