Seraikela: The alleged bribe taken by the husband of a ward member of Seraikela has been reportedly returned to the victim.
Sources said the special officer of Nagar Panchayat of Seraikela had got a tip-off about the incident. This led the accused to return the money to the victim.
Sources said Rs 20,000 is being demanded by certain people in the name of allotment of residential units to the beneficiaries of the government scheme.
