Jamshedpur: Bramharshi Vikas Manch is going to organize a mass Upnayan Sanskar ceremony in the city. The event will take place at Amal Sangh ground in Sidhgora on 27th and 28th March. This was informed here on Saturday by the outfit president Ram Prakash Pandey at a press conference.
Pandey said so far 13 children from different parts of the city have been registered for Upnayan Sanskar. A sum of Rs 5100 would be taken from the family of each child for conducting the ceremony in traditional manner. For those children whose parents are unable to bear the expenses, the amount would be waived off completely, said Pandey.
The outfit members said five priests from Hulasganj district of Gaya (Bihar) would perform the ceremony. They further said that efforts would also be made by the outfit to help poor children of Bramharshi community.
Among those present during the press conference included Rameshwar Tiwary, Vinod Shukla, Prabhat Thakur, Yogendra Mowar, Vijay Narayan, Srinivas Thakur and Rajesh Kumar.
