Jamshedpur, Dec 17: Situation turned tense briefly at Sidhi Vinayak temple near Adityapur bridge under Bistupur PS on Tuesday when a team of district police reached there for boundary wall construction.
On learning about it, many Hindu outfit leaders reached the venue. Dhalbhum SDO Chandan Kumar appealed for peace and urged the leaders to cooperate in the work.
He said no harm would be done to the temple building.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Arun Singh appealed for peace. He said the boundary wall of the temple would be demolished after Section 144 is removed.
