Jamshedpur: A free distribution of bottle gourd (Lauki) took place at DB Road in Bagbera under the aegis of Dukandar Manch, a local organization of roadside traders, in view of Chhath.
Rupesh Gupta and Angad Rai, members of the outfit, led the distribution. As much as eight quintals of bottle gourd was distributed among Chhath devotees.
Among others present on the occasion included Ashok Gupta, Manish Sharma, Ishwar Lal Thakur, Niranjan Rajak, Virendra Sao, Ajay, Bholu, Gabbar, Bablu, Shankar Mahesh and Santosh Mahajan.
