Bonfires to combat cold wave in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur:  Following the directives of District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal, the district administration of East Singhbhum has initiated measures to protect citizens from the intensifying cold wave.
To ensure safety and comfort for commuters and vulnerable sections, bonfires have been set up at major intersections in all blocks and urban areas. Additionally, blankets are being distributed to homeless and destitute individuals sleeping on the streets, and efforts are being made to shift them to designated shelter homes for better protection against the cold.
The administration has urged residents to prioritize their health and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities during evening hours. Citizens are advised to dress warmly when stepping out to prevent any adverse effects of the cold weather. Homeless individuals are encouraged to seek refuge in shelter homes to stay safe from the severe chill.
