Ranchi: The preparations for the Jharkhand Assembly Foundation Day celebrations on November 22 and 23 are in full swing, promising a series of engaging events. On November 22, a ceremony to honor outstanding MLAs will take place, followed by a musical performance by Bollywood singer Javed Ali on November 23.
The event will be attended by Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Assembly Speaker Ravindra Nath Mahato, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with ministers, party members, and opposition MLAs.
In addition to recognizing the efforts of Assembly personnel, the families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Naxalite incidents will be honored. The celebration will also include special recognition for 10th and 12th board toppers, as well as three scientists from Jharkhand associated with the Chandrayaan Mission.
A cultural program is scheduled at the Assembly premises on November 23, starting at 6:00 pm. The program will kick off with folk singing and music by local artists, followed by the captivating melodies of playback singer Javed Ali. Ghazal singer Kumar Satyam will enchant the audience with soulful ghazals, and comedian Ravindra Johny is set to add a touch of humor to the cultural festivities.
