Jamshedpur, May 9: In the JSCA U-16 Inter district elite group match played at Birsa Munda Cricket stadium Bokaro beat east Singhbhum by 47 runs.
After winning the toss team Bokaro decided to bat first and ended up with 190/5 in 40 overs with the help of Aditya Singh who made 83 runs, Kumar Shubham scored 30 while Kumar Utkarsh made 19 runs for his side.
Abhishek Nishad from East Singhbhum took 2 wickets while Mahesh Kudada, Madan bodra and Anmol Choubey took a wicket each.
Chasing 192 runs to win East Singhbhum batsman were bundled out for 147 where Piyush Prajapati scored 27 runs, Rahul Sinha made 23 runs while Golden Vishwas made 22 runs.
Bokaro bowlers Amit Kumar took 3 wickets, Aditya Singh took 2 wickets, while Apurva and Pankaj took 2 wickets each. Aditya Singh of Bokaro was awarded the man of the match who was given by JSCA life member Anup Burman.
