Jamshedpur, May 18. A young man’s body was found on Wednesday in the Subarnarekha river located in Bhojpur Colony under Sidgora police station.
The dead body could not be identified even on the second day, Thursday. The police is engaged in identifying the dead body. The age of the deceased is said to be 40 to 45 years.
Sidgoda police station in-charge Ranjit Kumar said that on Wednesday information was received from the local people that a dead body was visible in the Swarnrekha river in Bhojpur Colony. On getting information about the body, the police reached the spot and the body was taken out of the river with the help of local fishermen.
The dead body has been kept in the cold room of the post mortem house. At present, the police is engaged in the identification of the deceased.
