Jamshedpur, Mar 11: The lifeless body of Vijay Kant Pathak (82) was discovered in flat number 402 of Madhusudan Vihar, situated on Dimna Road under Ulidih OP in Mango. The flat’s security guard, upon finding Vijay unconscious in his room, promptly informed the police. BJP leader Vikas Singh also arrived at the scene upon learning about the incident, seeking information about the matter.

Police authorities took possession of the deceased’s body and transferred it to the mortuary at the post-mortem house as part of the ongoing investigation. Vijaykant had been residing alone in the flat, with his son Sanjay Pathak managing his business in Delhi. Sanjay explained that following the deaths of his mother and younger brother, his father chose to live alone. Although Sanjay had initially accompanied his father to Delhi, Vijaykant returned to Jamshedpur on August 15, expressing his disinterest in staying in the capital city.

Living alone, Vijaykant relied on the flat’s security guard for assistance. There were reports that he had gone missing for two days at one point. Sanjay, upon receiving the news, rushed back to the city. The police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Vijay Kant Pathak’s death to determine the cause and any potential contributing factors.
